using the archive

We want our collection to be watched and enjoyed by a wide range of learners and can offer advice and assistance to educators and students wishing to use the Archive.

How to…

… research
You can search the online database to find films in the collection.
If you can’t find the film you’re looking for or if you have a specific enquiry then contact the Archive and we can advise.  Alternatively, you can make an appointment to visit the Archive, search our in-house database and talk to one of the Education team.

… view
Films are viewable at the Archive, free of charge.  Contact us to make a viewing appointment.

… screen
We can make copies of films on DVD or in encoded files for research, screenings, classroom use and educational workshops.

Download our education order form for more information on charges and to order films.

Access is subject to copyright restrictions and preservation requirements outlined in our Terms and Conditions.

For more information on the YFA education service or specific enquiries about how we can support your project, please contact the Archive.
