The Yorkshire Film Archive is the public access film archive for Yorkshire and the Humber. We hold over 16,000 items of film and video tape, dating from the earliest days of film making in the 1880s to the present day. We want as many people as possible to see and enjoy our collections. YFA's interactive moving image website, YFA Online, is packed with over 50 hours of fascinating films and background information, showcasing Yorkshire’s rich moving image heritage. A dynamic resource that you can enjoy, learn from and contribute to.
YFA Online Learning is a cross-curricular moving image resource for education practitioners, full of clips designed for educational use. We invite teachers and learners to be creative with the films and to share and upload activities.
